PhycoTerra® is a microalgae and is applied to soil as a labile microbial food source. Soil microbes respond to labile carbon source inputs increasing in biomass. The improved microbial community helps improve root zone organic matter (OM), soil aggregation, soil health, soil structure and ultimately soil function. Plant yield responds to improved soil structure, soil function, microbial activity, oxygen availability, and NPK availability.
